2026 started slowly for boat sales, but despite concerns as the year went on about the political situation both domestic and international, rising energy costs and inflation, the demand for good used boats in the UK has continued, and modern style cruising boats seem to be most popular, though trhere is also a definite shortage of yachts coming to the market.

We have recently been asked by clients to find yachts of the following types:

Sadler 290

Moody 35 twin keel

Hunter Channel 31 twin keel

Moody S31

A good Heard 28 or similar GRP hulled traditional gaffer

Nicholson 35, Victoria 34, Tradewind 35 or Rustler 36 - an encapsulated long/fin keel cruiser

We are often asked for 30-35 ft plus bilge-keeled yachts, and rarely have enough choice to offer!
