Yachtsnet is a complete full-service
yacht brokerage - and more. It offers: |
Fast and efficient service
- yachts accepted for
sale on brokerage can have a preliminary page describing
the boat online within 24 hours, and a fully detailed description
of the boat with many high quality photographs online within
days. |
A truly personal service.
Every yacht on our brokerage list is inspected and photographed
by our staff - so you can always talk to someone with personal
knowledge of the boat you are interested in viewing. A Yachtsnet
representative accompanies prospective buyers to view
yachts offered for sale, unless agreed otherwise with
the seller. |
Detailed and accurate information.
A Yachtsnet representative inspects and photographs every
boat offered for sale.
Detailed comments on each boat are available on-line. |
Lower commission fees -
Yachtsnet commission charges
are lower than the 8% industry norm, because of savings in
press advertisement fees. Our commission charges are retained
from the sale proceeds and are payable only after the sale
of a yacht is completed. There are no other brokerage charges,
unless otherwise agreed.
No sale - no brokerage fee. |
Classified advertisements
- As an alternative to our normal brokerage terms we offer
free online classified
advertisements for all sailing dinghies, tender and rowing
boats, boat gear, and small keelboats or sailing cruisers
up to a value of £6,000, plus a paid
classified adverts listing for yachts over £6,000. |
Our links page - genuinely
useful and up to date links
to marine related sites, including weather, tides, and other
sailing resources. |
Financial Safety - We hold
clients monies in a dedicated Clients Account. We have full
insurance, and work strictly to the BMIF and ABYA Codes of
Practice for yacht brokers. |
Assistance with preparation for sale.
We advise on how to present a yacht for sale, and if required
can arrange boat storage, hauling out, regular cleaning and
battery charging, etc, at cost, to make sure that your boat
is always ready to be seen at its best by prospective buyers. |
Assistance with surveys and sea trials.
Once an offer has been made Yachtsnet will liaise with the
buyers selected surveyor to arrange the survey, and a further
sea trial if necessary. Yachtsnet will not recommend surveyors,
but we do maintain a
list of surveyors categorised by region. |
Delivery service - delivery
by sea by experienced and qualified delivery skippers.
Yachtsnet can also arrange road transport for any boat by
specialist hauliers. |
