Sloop

The Oceanis 321 is a modern fast cruiser with a comfortable cruising layout featuring a remarkably large single aft cabin for a 32 foot boat. This 1999 example has been in the same ownership for 14 years, has been very carefully looked after and has an excellent inventory including a cockpit "camper" cover, heating and extensive electronics. The shallow fin keel draught of 4' 3" is useful for areas such as Poole and Chichester.

Sailplan

The Oceanis 321 was designed for Beneteau by Groupe Finot and introduced in around 1993, remaining in production until around 2000. Many of these boats were built in the USA, in their factory in South Carolina, though this yacht for sale is a French-built boat with Category 'A' RCD certification and VAT paid status.

Unlike the quite similar but smaller Oceanis 311 design, the Oceanis 321 only appears to have been sold with one keel option, a medium draught iron bulbed fin.

The 321 seems less common in the UK market than the 311 and 331 models, but offers considerably larger accommodation than the 311 than would be expected simply from the model numbers. The "Clipper" designation refers to yachts sold new with an upgraded standard specification.

Chart table

She has very comprehensive electronics including a Raymarine radar with chart overlay at the chart table, normal log/speed/depth/wind instruments, a DSC VHF radio and an AIS transceiver. There is also a small independent Garmin chart plotter that clips above the binnacle. The original wheelpilot has been upgraded with a new course computer/fluxgate compass unit.

Galley

One of the areas where the Oceanis 321 is much improved over the 311 is the galley, which is much larger, with more workspace and larger sinks and fridge/icebox.
