Northsea 127
|
 |
The Northsea 127 is a modern
interpretation of the Colin Archer style, designed by the
naval architect David Cannell (who had one built for his own
use). She has a centre cockpit layout, designed for ocean
cruising with a crew of two, but with space in comfort for
guests.
By modern standards she is heavy displacement, but her weight
gives her an easy motion, and she sets quite a lot of sail
in an easily managed sailplan, so will achieve good passage
speeds. She is 41' 9" overall, with 12' 3" beam.
She was built in 2007/8 by North Sea Craft,
a subsidiary of Essex Woodcraft, makers of quality custom
furniture and joinery, and is fitted out beautifully. She
is for sale now only because of health reasons.
We will have full technical and inventory
details, and more photos shortly: the photos here are all
from 2009, although taken on different dates. |
