Sirocco is a revolutionary French ocean racer of the early 1970’s, designed by the Finot Group. The yacht is one of the best examples of her class and has been very well looked after since she was launched. For her first 13 years she was hardly used and lay in Largs Marina, Scotland. The present owners, Simon and Linda Mitchell, bought her in 1991 and have cruised extensively in her on the W. coast of Scotland and Ireland, the Orkneys, Fair Isle, Shetland, Norway, all the countries of the Baltic States, Poland, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France including French canals and the Mediterranean.

She is a beamy, spacious boat down below; the owners have spent many months aboard her and have never felt claustrophobic. She is fast and extremely seaworthy; a kind vessel in bad weather and good in light airs. She has been twice across the North Sea from Scotland to Norway in unpleasant weather with no fuss.
