LWL	31' 3"	Rig	Sloop	This is a very well looked after example of the Moody 37, a solid cruising yacht with a large en-suite aft cabin, and a second double forward with semi-en-suite forward heads. This yacht is very well equipped, both in terms of inventory and with non-standard features such as wind generator, a removable inner forestay and 'granny bars' both at the mast and on the aft deck coachroof. Bought by the present owner relatively recently, health issues have now forced him to look at a move to power.

The Moody 37 was designed by Bill Dixon of Angus Primrose Ltd., and introduced in 1985. In 1987 the design was modified slightly to add a small sugarscoop on the transom, and renamed the Moody 376, which remained in production until 1991. About 300 of these 37/376 models were built.

The Moody 37 is a substantial cruising yacht with accommodation laid out to be very comfortable for two couples, although there are up to eight berths if necessary. The centre cockpit is deep and well protected, with all sail controls led aft.

There is a navigators berth in the walkthrough to the aft cabin,
which also form the chart table seat. Routine engine access
is via a large hatch in this walkthrough

The aft cabin has a double berth, a settee opposite, and an en-suite heads compartment. This aft heads has a basin with hot and cold water but no shower. The TV and DVD player in the aft cabin are not on the inventory.



As well as granny bars at the mast, there is a stainless railing enclosing the coachroof top aft of the cockpit





	This yacht has clearly been fitted out for serious cruising, and has a very comprehensive inventory. For sale now only for health reasons, she has obviously been well looked after.
